Ali Solberg, MA, CCC-SLP, Supervisor of Speech/Language and Hearing Services
Ali provides consultation and supervision to speech-language pathologists in participating school districts across Lorain, Erie, and Huron counties. She actively participates in local, state, and national speech-language associations in order to share the latest information in an ever-changing profession. Virtual e-packets are disseminated monthly providing timely updates as well as tips on service delivery, caseload management, links to engaging materials and more. SLPs meet in regional groups with the supervisor tri-annually. In addition, professional development is coordinated based on current research and trends in the field of speech-language pathology specific to the school setting to assist the SLP in staying current in their practice setting.
Supervision for those SLPs undergoing their Supervised Professional Experience (SPE) and Clinical Fellowship (CF) concurrently is provided along with additional support to new speech-language pathologists. Ali assists in placing student speech-language pathologists in the region collaborating with several universities and works with districts' job vacancies annually providing supervision to new hires when necessary.
