TEACHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

The ESC of Lorain County Endowment Fund Board of Trustees invites graduating seniors to apply for the Teacher Education Scholarship in the amount of $1000. We will accept applications beginning February 3, 2025 with the deadline extended through May 1, 2025.
 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicant must plan on pursuing a degree in education and must be entering their freshman year of college in Fall 2025 as a full-time student.
• Applicant must graduate from the following Lorain County High Schools during this academic school year: Amherst, Avon, Avon Lake, Clearview, Columbia, Elyria, Firelands, Keystone, Lorain, Midview, North Ridgeville, Oberlin, Sheffield, and Wellington.
• Applicant should show a need for financial aid.
• Applicant must rank in the top one-third of their class academically; however, educators are encouraged to recommend exceptional students who are below this level due to extenuating circumstances.
• Applicant must submit their official high school transcript and letters of recommendation from two teachers along with their application.
