This course will cover current research and clinical experience to give SLPs an understanding of the different types of language processing. It will provide an overview of the Natural Language Acquisition model developed by Marge Blanc and how we can use this in our practice as school SLPs. The course will provide guidance on assessment, intervention, and implications for other areas such as AAC. Gestalt Language Processing is a hot topic in the SLP world with much debate surrounding it, our goal of this session is to provide you with foundational components so that you can make the most informed decisions for your students.
