Prevention 101

Audience: Educational Staff, Administrators, and Community Providers working in schools
 
This is an introductory session on the basic tenets of prevention, especially as it pertains to mental, emotional, and behavioral health. In addition to providing information on the foundations of prevention, this session will also address:
• Aligning tiered frameworks and prevention efforts with a trauma and culturally responsive lens,
• Selecting Social-Emotional Learning and prevention programs using data-based decisions, and
• Integrating SEL curricula and interventions into the MTSS model.
CEU's provided by ESCLC and MHARS for Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Counselors
